Big Brother

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Young Spurs striker John Sutton will be more than an interested spectator at White Hart Lane on Wednesday evening - it will be his first opportunity to see big bruv Chris play live for Celtic.

His own playing commitments have so far prevented the 18-year-old from travelling to Glasgow, where his brother has enjoyed great success since heading north from Chelsea two years ago.

He does not deny that he could well be loitering around the tunnel area on Wednesday when the Scottish champions and their army of fans arrive in N17.

"That's right, I'll try and get a word with him if at all possible," said John, an Academy graduate who hopes to feature regularly for our reserve side in the coming season.

He adds that he has spoken to powerhouse striker Chris and confirms that he, like most players who play for Scottish clubs, is relishing the chance to come down and attempt to put one over a Premiership side.

"Yes and he's looking forward to it. They've started already and have played their first league game and will be well into their stride.

"They played Man Utd and Leeds last season and beat them, so it's going to be a tough game. It will certainly be a good one as well because of the quality of the Celtic team."

The Parkhead side began their defence of the Premier League on Saturday and enjoyed a 2-1 win over Dunfermline, with the prolific Henrik Larsson netting twice.

John says it is evident that Scottish sides tend to raise their game against English teams and feels it is because the Scottish game is sometimes afforded a little lack of respect.

"I think there is a little bit of an edge because people tend to be quite critical of the Scottish League some of the time. Maybe that gives them lift to get results."
