Kyle Walker is back in the squad and has travelled to Istanbul ahead of tomorrow night's (Thursday, December 11) Europa League, Group C finale against Besiktas.
The full-back hasn’t featured in first team action since March and underwent abdominal surgery in September.
Kyle played 67 minutes on his return for our Under-21s against Manchester City on December 1 and completed 90 minutes in a training match against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
As we reported earlier, Emmanuel Adebayor misses out while Mauricio has rested a number of players during this busy schedule.
“Ade is back home, a personal matter,” reported Mauricio ahead of training at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium. “After that, Kyle Walker is back and we will decide after training the starting 11 and who will be on the bench.
“We have a strong squad so some players have stayed in London - Vertonghen, Kane, Mason, Bentaleb, Eriksen and Naughton.”
Federico Fazio returns from suspension as we battle it out to top the group - we will do just that if we avoid defeat.
