Ben's Besiktas target

Ben Davies isn’t interested in just looking for the draw that will guarantee us top spot in Europa League Group C when we face Besiktas this evening (6pm UK, December 11).

The Welsh full-back has started all seven matches in our Europa League campaign so far and wants to finish the group stage in style in Istanbul.

“We know it’s going to be tough but we aim to finish top of the group, that’s important for us,” said Ben, who has also started our last four games in the Premier League.

"Teams who go out looking for a draw have a tendancy to sit back and that's not what we want. We will go out to win.

“Besiktas are a strong side with good players and they showed that at White Hart Lane.

“We’ll have to be on top form to get a positive result but we’ll go there looking for maximum points."
