Benji Stambouli is determined to improve every day as he gets used to his new life at Spurs.

It’s been a good week for the midfielder with his debut off the bench in the 2-2 draw at Sunderland and full debut in our goalless draw at Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League on Thursday night.

“As I said at the beginning when I joined, I’m learning all the time, training hard every day and that’s most important,” he said.

“In football, every day is a fight and every day you have to be better than yesterday.

“There are so many games and so many chances to play. I have to take my chance and prove to the manager that I can play. I want to improve and I think I will make progress.”
