Ben relishing challenge

Ben Davies feels the competition for left-back with Danny Rose will drive both players on - to the benefit of the team.

Danny has started all three Premier League fixtures so far with Ben in the team for both legs of our Europa League play-off against AEL Limassol.

Both players are in their respective international squads this week - Danny with the senior England squad for the first time for last week's friendly against Norway and Monday night's Euro 2016 qualifier in Switzerland, Ben with Wales for their Euro qualifier against Androrra on Tuesday.

"This competition is going to help us both," stated Ben. "It is going to make us both better players, hopefully, and that's all we want to do as professionals.

"Danny has been great to me and it is a competition between us.

"We both want that jersey, but whoever does get it at the end of the day we are supporting the team and we'll support each other. That's the way it is going to be."
