Ben expecting another tough test at Leicester

25 December 2014|Tottenham Hotspur

Ben Davies has labelled Boxing Day’s trip to Leicester as a ‘big challenge’.

We travel to the King Power Stadium off the back of three wins on the spin in all competitions and unbeaten in our last nine Boxing Day fixtures.

Having put in a battling performance to see off Burnley last weekend, left-back Ben says we’ll need to be on our guard if we’re to register a fourth consecutive victory for the first time since the opening four games of the season.

“Burnley were a tough team to play against. They’ve given a lot of teams in this league some difficult games, but so have Leicester,” said the Welsh international.

“We were happy with the result last weekend but in this league there’s no easy games, you have to do a good job to pick up the three points, and we want to do the same on Boxing Day.

“It’s going to be another big challenge for us but it’s one we’re going into looking to get the three points. Hopefully we’ll be able to do that.”
