As part of the Club’s support for The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal this year, Ben Davies and Andros Townsend have recorded audio messages to be played on the London Underground as part of London Poppy Day.
Ben and Andros are amongst 21 famous celebrities who have teamed up with Transport for London (TfL) to encourage Londoners to give generously to London Poppy Day.
Messages recorded by the celebrities will be heard at over 70 London Underground stations, on all 8,500 London buses and 11 Network Rail main line stations.
Fans travelling through Tottenham Court Road, Tottenham Hale or Seven Sisters Underground stations should listen out for messages from Andros and Ben, which will be played throughout the day.
London Poppy Day is part of the national Poppy Appeal, which aims to raise as much money as possible in a single day to support the whole Armed Forces family.
The Club’s fixture against Stoke, which falls on Remembrance Sunday, November 9, 2014, has been dedicated to honouring the bravery of our Armed Forces.
