Christian Eriksen has targeted a return to winning ways against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
Having scored in both matches against the Baggies last season – including a spectacular stoppage time leveller as we came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 at the Hawthorns in April – the Dane will be hoping to hit the target for a third consecutive match against this weekend’s visitors.
With Alan Irvine’s side still chasing their first Premier League win of the season, Christian knows both teams will be hungry to secure all three points at White Hart Lane.
“They’re a difficult team to play against, they work hard,” warned the Dane, who opened his goalscoring account for the season with our second goal in last Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Sunderland.
“We had two tough games against them last season. They made it difficult for us to play against them although we had our chances in both games.
“Hopefully this game is not the turning point for them – I hope it’s the turning point for ourselves to get the three points again.
“We want to have another good game and get the win.”
