Back to basics
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Colin Calderwood will tell his youngsters to get back to basics as the reserves look to rediscover the winning habit.
His young side - seven of the starting line-up were aged 20 or under - were beaten 1-0 at Nottingham Forest on Monday night.
Once again they stuck to their guns, battled and defended well under pressure but boss Colin is looking for more.
"Everyone can say that we had a young side and they battled away," Colin pointed out. "But it doesn't matter how young you are, you still have to look after that ball correctly.
"It can be as basic as you want but if you don't do that there is no platform to go and do the next stage. Some of the play would have been nice to watch but it didn't hurt Forest enough.
"But it's another game under their belts on a nice pitch, nice environment and hopefully they'll benefit from it.
"What we need is a wee bit of joy to give them a little belief again. We need a result to lift the spirits. The dressing room was very bubbly when we were picking up wins and draws and we have to get back to that."
Forest won it thanks to Brian Cash's second half goal and in truth, the home side had the greater share of possession and carved out the better chances.
As we pushed forward for an equaliser Forest had the chances to increase the margin of victory but came across Gavin Kelly in inspired form.
Colin added: "We got a bit of a chasing in the first and never really put pressure on the ball, on the man on the ball and just weren't effective.
"The second half was better but when we had the ball we were poor. The scoreline could have been bigger. We were thankful to Gavin because when we were pushing forward we left a lot of space and he made a few good saves."
