Back in the USA
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Simon Davies is back in the USA on international duty for Wales in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Our star midfielder has joined up with Mark Hughes' squad for a historical first meeting against the States, a friendly in San Jose kicking-off at 7pm local time (3am UK).
Ironically, the match comes just 10 days after Simon flew back from the US after our friendly against Major Soccer League outfit DC United.
Speaking before that trip, he explained: "I'll come back from Washington and go back out a few days later.
"I would have stayed out there but I've already got a golf holiday in Portugal booked so I'll look forward to that and then go back out. It will be busy but I'm looking forward to it.
"It will be a good trip and it's always good to get together with the international team to keep things ticking over for the vital qualifiers next season."
Wales are in pole position to reach their first major finals since the 1958 World Cup as they stand top of Euro 2004 qualifying Group Nine, five points clear of Italy.
They do not have qualifying matches this summer - unlike most countries who have games on either June 7 or 11, or both - but their destiny will be decided with three games in 21 days at the start of next season when they play Serbia Montenegro on August 20, Italy on September 6 and Finland on September 10.
Simon added: "We haven't got any qualifiers in the summer but three games in a month next season so by September we'll know where we are. We've three games and we'll be looking for six points."
Wales' dream of reaching next summer's finals has been given a boost after UEFA lifted the ban on Azerbaijan which threatened to ruin their record - if the ban had stood and Azerbaijan kicked out, they would have lost six points.
