Arsenal update - important Police advice
Ahead of Monday's Premier League match at West Ham United, the Club reminded fans to refrain from any offensive chanting and we would like to thank everyone who travelled to Upton Park for their positive reaction and behaviour on the night.
We take on Arsenal at White Hart Lane this Sunday and we should once again like to remind our supporters to behave in a manner that does not bring the Club into disrepute and of which we can all be proud.
The police have informed us that they will be monitoring for offensive chanting both inside and outside the stadium on Sunday and chanting of this nature will result in an arrest.
The Club does not tolerate discrimination of any sort, on the pitch or in the stands, and we shall take action against anyone heard using abusive, offensive or obscene language.
Should you experience anyone using language of this nature please report this to the Club by texting the Control Room on the following number:
You do not have to put up with mindless supporters who are intent on ruining your day with us, so use the system, report the individuals and let us take it from there. We will treat your correspondence in strictest confidence.
For our staff, it is better to monitor the problem as it is happening as we can view the area of concern on CCTV and deal with everything quickly.
We have a fantastic atmosphere at the Lane and by working together we can prevent a small minority ruining it for everyone.
