Andros, Kyle, JD in England squad
03 October 2013|Tottenham Hotspur
Andros Townsend, Kyle Walker and Jermain Defoe have once again been named in the full England squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Winger Andros got his first call-up to the senior squad last month, and is now back at Roy Hodgson’s disposal as we prepare to host Montenegro and Poland next week.
Joining Andros in the squad for the games – which will decide whether England make it to next summer’s finals in Brazil – are Kyle Walker, who started at right-back in last month’s matches against Moldova and Ukraine, and striker Jermain Defoe.
The Three Lions host Montenegro at Wembley Stadium next Friday, October 11, and are then back under the arch on Tuesday, October 15, as Poland are the visitors.
Meanwhile, Harry Kane and Tom Carroll have been called up for the England Under-21s as Gareth Southgate's team prepare for a Euro qualifying double-header against San Marino and Lithuania.
Congratulations to all five players!
