Andre on Swansea

Andre Villas-Boas gives full respect to Swansea as we prepare to face Michael Laudrup’s men at the Lane on Sunday.

The Swans arrive in N17 for a 1.30pm kick-off sitting tenth in the Premier League after Saturday’s results, with an impressive 10 points on their travels.

“Swansea have been good, you only have to look at their position in the Premier League and you can see how well they have been doing,” said Andre.

“From that aspect, we have to take on board that this will not be an easy game.

“Swansea are not there just because it happened, they are there on their own merit and the results they have been getting, particularly away from home, which is always difficult in the Premier League.”

Andre said he’d seen a determination in the players this week after suffering that late, late loss at Everton last weekend.

“The players came back to training with a desire to forget about the result and move on, recognising that we had to work on the things that weren’t right,” he said.
