Andre on QPR

Andre Villas-Boas is well aware of the potential threat of QPR as he prepares for Sunday's London derby at the Lane.

Rangers were busy in the summer transfer market and brought in the likes of Robert Green from West Ham, Park Ji-Sung from United, Chelsea's Jose Bosingwa and Inter's Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar. They also secured the loans of Samba Diakite from Nancy and Fabio da Silva from United.

QPR were rocked by a 5-0 home loss against Swansea on the opening weekend of the Premier League but last week's goalless draw against Chelsea suggests they are starting to turn the corner.

"We have to be careful, because QPR’s position doesn’t reflect the team they can be, and certainly the position they can finish," said Andre.

"This is a team that made tremendous changes in the summer window, brought in important players from throughout the world, players who were European champions and World Cup winners.

"They will only bring another level to the Premier League.

"It’s an important weekend because the teams at the top meet each other, but we have to make sure we do our business against a difficult team."

Andre and the squad are determined to build on last week's first league win - a convincing display and 3-1 success at Reading - and the performance against Lazio in the Europa League on Thursday, where we dominated against the Italians in a 0-0 draw.

"I expect a difficult game against QPR and I hope we can repay our fans with our first home win," added Andre. "That would be excellent.

"As long as we have this kind of performance (Lazio), we are on the way to getting it, that’s for sure."

If so, here's where you can watch our match against QPR, kick-off 4pm UK time.
