Andre aiming to get back on track

Andre Villas-Boas is convinced a positive result against Arsenal could kick-start another good run in the Premier League.

We make the short trip to the Emirates Stadium for the first North London derby of the campaign with just one point between the teams - we’re in seventh place on 17, the Gunners in eighth on 16.

Both teams are looking to bounce back from indifferent results – our defeats against Wigan and City, Arsenal’s loss at United and draws against Schalke and Fulham - and as Andre points out, what better way to do so?

“Both teams like to express themselves, both teams have good players and both want to jump back from negative results,” said Andre.

“There is no better way to do it than against your rival. It can have that impact.

“In the end, you never know, but when we beat Reading we felt more confident when the game had finished and we’d come out with a first win. That helped us get on a good run of wins.

“This kind of game can put you back on track.”
