Glenn Hoddle has revealed this afternoon that Darren Anderton's hamstring problem is improving and he hasn't been ruled out of Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea.
The midfielder has missed our last two games - the most he's missed in succession all season - with the injury he initially felt after the Premiership win against Leicester City on February 9.
That forced him out of the England squad for the friendly against Holland and the FA Cup tie against Tranmere. He returned for the Worthington Cup Final but missed the Premiership games against Sunderland and Manchester United.
Speaking at his pre-Chelsea press conference at Spurs Lodge, Glenn revealed: "Darren's improving. He's had intensive treatment over the last 10 days and he's responded. He's been running today so we'll see what his response is tomorrow."
Glenn added that Darren, Tim Sherwood and Les Ferdinand were the main doubts for Sunday's tie at the Lane.
