All smiles for Soldado

Roberto Soldado left White Hart Lane with a smile on his face after hitting his first hat-trick for us on Thursday night.
“I will go home happy. It’s a great victory. It means a lot to me,” said the Spanish hitman after our 4-1 win against Anji in the Europa League.
He had every right to be happy after a glancing header from Gylfi Sigurdsson’s free-kick, a first-time finish from Erik Lamela’s deft pass and a penalty secured the matchball and helped us make it six wins out of six in Group K.
Lewis Holtby’s fine finish completed the goalscoring as we became only the fourth team to complete the group stage of the competition with a 100 per cent record.
“Everyone knows we have a good atmosphere, we get along well and I’ve got a lot of support from my colleagues,” added Roberto.
“They know I wasn’t happy because I didn’t score so much but now with this victory and these goals, I’m very happy. Also, when I think about all the supporters who showed me so much love, I’m even happier.”
