Hugo Lloris wasn't interested in any individual praise after another outstanding display, this time at West Ham on Saturday.

The French international skipper made a string of top-drawer saves as we succumbed to a 2-0 loss after playing with 10 men for over an hour at Upton Park.

Hugo denied Andy Carroll, Matt Taylor, Kevin Nolan and a produced a double save to keep out Mohamed Diame’s overhead kick and Nolan’s follow up.

Try as we might - and we had 52% possession - we struggled to create clear-cut chances and force our way back into the game.

“We are always looking at the collective performance,” said Hugo.

“We try to do our jobs and try to do our best.

“We didn’t have a good response after the red card. The second half was better and if we could have scored it might have made it difficult for them. It’s a shame, it’s a derby and it’s disappointing for the fans.

“We have one week left so we have to stay concentrated and try to perform well in front of our fans for the last game against Villa.”
