All about the team - Gareth
Gareth Bale was only interested in team values as he picked up the Barclays Player of the Month Award for February.
The flying winger is in the form of his life and scored five goals in the Premier League in February including the winner at West Brom, both goals against Newcastle and another two at West Ham, the highlight his 30-yard screamer to secure a 3-2 win at Upton Park on Monday.
“We’re getting better and better with every game, we’re gelling and as I’ve said before, we work together and and whoever gets these awards, it’s a team game and no-one can do it on their own," said Gareth.
“I’ve been enjoying my football probably more than I ever have and when you are enjoying your football, you give your best performances.”
The club completed a double as Andre Villas-Boas picked up the Barclays Manager of the Month for February with three wins in three, stretching our unbeaten run to 11 in the Premier League and one defeat in the last 15 since November.
“It’s been a great month but the team has worked hard all season,” added Gareth.
