Harry Kane reckons he ticked every box last season.
The striker made his breakthrough in 2013-14, making 19 appearances in all competitions – including eight starts – and scoring four goals.
He marked his first Premier League start for us with his first top flight goal against Sunderland on April 7 and that sparked a run of three goals in as many starts.
“I picked up a back injury midway through the season and had to be patient, but when the chance comes you have to take it,” reflected Harry, who was unfortunately injured on England Under-21 duty last week.
“That chance came towards the end of the season and to score three goals in my first three starts for Spurs in the Premier League was fantastic, a very proud time for me.
“As that chance came at the end of the season, hopefully I’ll take that confidence into next season.
“I know that will take a lot of hard work and I’ll need to have a good pre-season but the target is to get more starts and more goals.”
