Emmanuel Adebayor paid tribute to Hugo Lloris after the goalkeeper's wonder save against Everton.
The pair played key roles in a crucial victory - Hugo had to be at his best to deny Leon Osman as the Toffees dictated the early stages, Ade then fired home a superb winner in the second half to secure the points.
They were at it again at Newcastle on Wednesday night - this time Ade scored twice in our 4-0 win, while Hugo made three world-class saves to deny the home team at crucial moments in the game, at 0-0 and then when we were 2-0 up.
"We all know how important Hugo is to the team," said Ade. "When you know you have a great goalkeeper behind you it’s always easier to play your football.
"He works so hard and we all know what he can bring into the team. We have great confidence in him."I was delighted to score again but the most important thing as always was to win."
