Ade focussed ahead of Newcastle test

Emmanuel Adebayor insists every game and every point is vital now as we push for a top four place in the Premier League.

The striker fired home the goal that beat Everton in a match that certainly fit that billing on Sunday as we leapfrogged the Toffees back into fifth place, three points behind Liverpool.

Newcastle are next at St James' Park tonight - kick-off, 7.45pm - as we enter the final third of the campaign.

"There are no easy games and no normal games now, they will all be cup finals for us between now and the end of the season if we want to finish in the top four," stated the in-form Togo internatonal, who has six goals in his last nine league starts.

"This is the task and this is what we have to get ready for.

"We have to concentrate, to think about recovering between matches and do everything right.

"We have good players here and if we do it right, we have a chance to reach our target because we’re playing great football at the moment."
