Addicks impress Glenn
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Glenn Hoddle witnessed first hand Charlton's win at Chelsea but insists we'll be every bit as confident as Alan Curbishley's buoyant men at the Valley on Saturday.
The boss was full of praise for Charlton's display in the 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
But we travel to south-east London as one of the form teams in the Premiership with a run of one defeat in nine games in all competitions under our belt.
Glenn reported: "I watched Charlton at Chelsea and they played very well, probably the best they've played for a long time. In the 90 minutes I felt they deserved the three points.
"They are very organised and were the better side by far at Chelsea, especially for the first 45 minutes.
"They had good movement and the front two look as if they could be a handful on their day so we'll have to nullify that.
"Over at the Valley there is always a good atmosphere, a good crowd who get behind them and it's a difficult game over there, always is.
"They will be very confident going into the game but in the same breath, I have to say we'll go there every bit as confident with the form we're in."
Glenn added that it will be all about maintaining the level of performance that has taken us up to fifth in the Premiership.
"There is not an easy game anywhere in this league," he said. "On any given day if you don't hit the right score out of ten, if you like, then you will come unstuck.
"It's important that we maintain the consistent level that we've found."
Look out for more from Glenn tomorrow
