Alex Inglethorpe said his Under-18s were excellent value for their 3-0 victory against Arsenal in the FA Premier Academy League.

Goals from Alex Olsen (pictured) on his first appearance after injury, Jake Livermore and Daniel Hutchins handed the lads a 3-0 lead at half-time and they didn't look back to inflict the FA Youth Cup semi-finalists' second league defeat of the campaign.

Coach Alex reported: "The important thing from my point of view is that we simply played the better football, you can't say we just went out there and overpowered them and I'm sure they would admit that as well.

"The goals were all scored in the first half with Alex Olsen heading home at the far post from Daniel Hutchins' free-kick, Jake Livermore bursting into the box and finishing well and then a fine finish from Daniel, his first goal.

"There was further good news as David Button played after a shoulder problem, Jamie Davis came on for the final 30 minutes after four months out and you can't forget that we're still without the likes of top scorer Tomas Pekhart, Terry Dixon and Troy Archibald-Henville. We also started with three Under-16s again, so all-round it was an encouraging afternoon for us."

Spurs U18s: Button, Adam Smith, Hughton, Kasim, Mills, Martin, Hutton, Livermore, Olsen (Medley, 46), Hutchins (Mason, 75), Townsend (Davis, 60). Unused subs: Alex Smith, Stroud.
