Academy make their point
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Both our under-19 and under-17 Academy sides registered draws on Saturday in tough assignments against Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively.
Spurs 0-0 Chelsea
By under-19 coach Pat Holland
They fielded a strong side which was a good test for the players. It ended up quite a competitive game, at times over-competitive.
I thought our lads did really well, it could have gone either way. We maybe shaded it with what I'd call chances with crosses across the box. Nicky Wettner (pictured) put three great balls in and we should have had someone on the end of it.
I think both sides would have taken something out of it. On reflection 0-0 was a fair result, but I was really pleased with the performance.
This is our second draw with them, 2-2 at their place. They have a lot of internationals, they've got two German internationals in there that represent Germany at under-19s.
So they've got a lot of experience there and, as an under-18 side, I thought we done okay.

Aston Villa 1-1 Spurs
By Academy coach Michael Stone
It was a tough trip away at Aston Villa, I think Villa have only lost twice this season and are top of their group.
We arrived there and it started to snow and it was very blustery at their training ground, Bodymoor Heath. So the conditions unfortunately spoiled the game.
To be fair, the team coped quite well with the conditions.
We were first to score about half an hour into the game from a corner swung in from Jon Black. Mario Noto pulled off the back post and scored with header, very good goal and we were delighted with it.
We came in at the break 1-0 up. Villa had a bit of possession in the first period and we were aware of that and warned the team to keep concentrating - with the wind anything can happen. We asked them to keep it tight at the back.
We defended quite well in the second half and were hard to break down. With about 20 minutes to go a shot came in and the goalkeeper parried it and they followed up quickly on the rebound and tucked it away.
I think 1-1 was a fair result, both teams had a lot of possession, two good teams playing good football - although the wind spoilt it slightly.
It was quite a respectable draw. It was a good result, a good draw when we look back.
What was also important is that Arsenal dropped points and, although it's not results orientated, we've got the chance to win the league. We've two games left and if we win both we'll win the league.
If we win them we'll get a better draw in the play-offs - Arsenal lost 4-2 to Wimbledon.
Team: Rutherford, Dobson, Tyrie, Foster, Perry, Noto, Barnett, Black, Price, Malcolm, Yeates.
