'A game full of emotion...'

Andre Villas-Boas expects a match 'full of emotion, full of adrenaline' as we prepare to meet Arsenal in a huge North London derby on Sunday.

The encounter has even more significance with our position in the Premier League.

We go into the 4pm kick-off at the Lane four points ahead of the Gunners and sitting proudly in third place after Monday night’s thrilling 3-2 win at West Ham.

That stretched our current run to one defeat in 15 matches, a sequence that kick-started after our loss at the Emirates in November.

Andre is looking for maximum points - and sees Sunday’s clash as ‘an opportunity’.

“We are focused on trying to win because it’s important to establish our position in the Premier League,” said Andre.

“This is a very specific game, anything could happen really.

“I think it will be an open game from both sides, full of emotion, full of adrenaline, unpredictable. I think that’s the sort of game we expect and most of the fixtures have translated like that.

“Our objective is to gain the most amount of points as we can and against Arsenal, we have the chance to move further away from them and put ourselves in a more comfortable position.

“It’s an opportunity. The players are ready, prepared and we all know what we want to achieve this season.”
