Tbilisi, 1973 - We drew 1-1 at the Locomotive Stadium on November 28, 1973, Ralph Coates opened the scoring before Kakhi Asatiani levelled 17 minutes from time.

Victory at the Lane - Martin Peters and Martin Chivers both netted twice as we won the return leg 5-1 at the Lane two weeks later, December 12, 1973. Chris McGrath, just 19, added the fifth.

Final heartbreak - We went on to reach the final, where we lost 4-2 on aggregate to Feyenoord.

European achievements - We've won three times in Europe, the Cup Winners Cup in 1963 and the UEFA Cup in 1972 and 1984. Dinamo Tbilisi have also triumphed, winning the Cup Winners Cup in 1981 when they beat FC Carl Zeiss Jena of East Germany 2-1 in the final.
