200 up for Mousa
28 August 2017|Tottenham Hotspur
Mousa Dembele reached the 200-game milestone for the Club against Burnley on Sunday.
The midfield maestro, 30, joined us from Fulham in August, 2012.
Mousa has now played 146 times for us in the Premier League, 10 in the FA Cup, eight in the League Cup and made 36 appearances in Europe.
Those 36 appearances in Europe see him placed equal-fourth in the Club's list of all-time European appearance-makers, alongside Pat Jennings and team-mate Hugo Lloris. Both Mousa (495) and Hugo (494) are also approaching 500 career appearances.
Jan is third on that lost with 37 behind Aaron Lennon (58) and Steve Perryman (64).
Mousa is the third player in the current squad to reach 200-plus appearances for the Club alongside Hugo (now 214) and Jan Vertonghen (207). All three joined us in the summer of 2012.
Mousa, Hugo and Jan are three of eight players in the current squad to have made over 100 appearances for us alongside Christian Eriksen (182), Harry Kane (168), Eric Dier (138), Danny Rose (145) and Erk Lamele (121).
Meanwhile, another four players are approaching the 100-game milestone with Dele Alli (99), Ben Davies (93), Toby Alderweireld (91) and Heung-Min Son (90) all now in the 90s.
