Unforgettable experience awaits disabled athletes in Melbourne

15 June 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

In case you missed the announcement earlier this week, we will be continuing our long-standing work with Special Olympics during our trip to Melbourne, Australia next month.

The Club’s Global Coaching team will deliver a football clinic for local learning disabled athletes in Melbourne, in partnership with Special Olympics Asia-Pacific.

In what’s set to be an unforgettable experience, the participants will get the chance to work alongside our Global Coaches to improve their skills and learn how to play The Spurs Way.

Here, we take a look back at some of the highlights from last year’s football clinic in Malaysia when Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen, Nabil Bentaleb and Michel Vorm stopped by to meet the young disabled athletes and bring a few smiles to their faces - check out the video at the top of the page!
