Training Centre opens its doors to local community
15 June 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Hundreds of local school children and members of local community groups are expected to visit the Club’s Training Centre this month, gaining access to our world-class facilities at Hotspur Way.
Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s community sports coaches will deliver 20 separate sports events ranging from small coaching sessions for young adults to larger football tournaments for school children aimed at benefitting the lives of people within the local area.
More than 1,200 pupils from 35 local schools will take part in six tournaments throughout June including a disability football specific and girls-only tournament.
This forms part of the Section 106 Partnership which was launched in 2010 by Enfield Council, Lee Valley Regional Park Authority and Tottenham Hotspur. It is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Club’s £2.3m commitment to community sport and physical activity over 10 years to the borough.
