31 May 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
A total of 11 of our players will head to Euro 2016 this summer after the participating nations’ 23-man squads were confirmed today (Tuesday, May 31).
After playing and training with England over the last fortnight, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Harry Kane, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker all made the final cut as Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson trimmed his party down ahead of tonight’s deadline for squads to be submitted to UEFA.
Similarly, Toby Alderweireld, Mousa Dembele and Jan Vertonghen will be on the plane to France with Belgium while Ben Davies has been confirmed as part of the Wales squad.
France goalkeeper and skipper Hugo Lloris will lead out the host nation and Kevin Wimmer takes his place in Austria’s final 23.
The tournament kicks-off on Friday, June 10, as Hugo’s France take on Romania in Group A.
