Erik takes 'big heart' into Copa America

Erik Lamela would have left Hotspur Way with positive words from his manager ringing in his ears.
In the early hours of this morning, the all-action attacking midfielder will look to make his mark for Argentina in the Copa America.
Argentina have already qualified for the quarter-finals and with both Uruguay and Brazil out, are now odds-on favourites to win the tournament.
Erik came off the bench early to play 50 minutes of Argentina's second group game against Panama - a 5-0 win inspired by a quickfire hat-trick from Lionel Messi - and may yet get a chance in the final group game against Bolivia in Seattle later.
With 11 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions, Erik certainly made his mark in his best campaign yet for us last season.
"I think Erik has matured a lot," said Mauricio Pochettino who, having earned 20 caps for Argentina, will have more than a passing interest in the Copa America.
"Today, he’s a different player to the day we arrived (at Spurs). Always, young players need time and different players sometimes need more time.
"Erik has good qualities, a big heart, works a lot and his season was fantastic."
