Copa America latest - Erik on target

Erik Lamela grabbed his starting chance for Argentina with both hands as the favourites cruised into the quarter-finals if the Copa America in the early hours of this morning.

The all-action attacking midfielder marked his 19th cap with the opening goal as Argentina beat Bolivia 3-0 to top their qualifying group and set-up a quarter-final against Venezuela on Saturday.

Erik teed-up a free-kick from 25 yards that clipped off the wall and flew into the top corner in the 13th minute at Seattle's Centurylink Field, host of our friendly against Seattle Sounders in 2014.

Goals from Ezequiel Lavezzi and Victor Cuesta wrapped up the win.
