Focused and ready - Ladies aim for glory at the Lane tonight

Wed 19 April 2017, 11:00|Tottenham Hotspur

The collective football dreams of Spurs Ladies could all come true in 90 minutes at White Hart Lane this evening.

If playing on the main stage wasn't enough, the team's continued excellence on the pitch coupled with a crucial and dramatic late win against rivals Cardiff City on Sunday means they can clinch the FA Women's Premier League South title for the first time with victory over West Ham.

The match kicks-off at 7pm.

In an incredible campaign, Spurs have won 15 and drawn one of their 16 matches in the FAWPL, have already retained the Boux Avenue Cup and have the League Cup and Capital Cup Finals to follow.

"It could be a magical," said manager Karen Hills, the Club's Girls & Women's Development Officer, an FA Cup winner in her playing days and now nine years in charge of Spurs Ladies.

"Everything is set up for us. To go out and play at White Hart Lane is obviously something special for everyone and now the chance to clinch the title, it's a chance you dream of.

"We're focused, we're ready and now it's down to the players to go out and perform with the same intensity that has got us to this stage."
