Spurs Ladies won a thrilling Ryman Cup Final on penalties against Charlton on Thursday 14 April.
Katie O'Leary made a dream return to action after a four-month injury
absence to slot home the decisive spot-kick as Spurs won the shoot-out
4-3 in front of 650 fans at Cheshunt FC.
Wendy Martin, Sophie McLean and Bianca Baptiste joined her on the
scoresheet to secure a first trophy since the London Cup in 2012 and at
the same time, gain revenge for last season's Ryman Cup Final loss
against the same team.
It was no less than Spurs deserved after dominating the 120 minutes against their old rivals from the FA Women's Premier League.
Spurs Ladies were left to rue the one that got
away as West Ham won their big night at Upton Park in the FA Women's
Premier League on Tuesday 8 March.
Played in front of over 1,700 fans, Spurs had a goal disallowed, lost to
a penalty and did just about everything but score but as manager Karen
Hills admitted: "It was wasn't our night."

Spurs Ladies beat West Ham ladies 5-0 in the Ryman Cup semi-final on Thursday 21 January.
Bianca Baptiste opened the scoring from Avilla Bergin's cross on the
half-hour and Wendy Martin doubled the lead before half-time when she
was upended and converted the penalty herself. Martin turned provider for Bergin for a three-goal cushion just
minutes into the second half and a dominant performance was capped by a
first senior goal for Ronnell Humes for 4-0 and Bergin's second from
Humes' assist in the final minute.
Spurs Ladies won 2-1 against London rivals West Ham United Ladies on 15.11.15 at their home ground Cheshunt FC.
Wendy Martin opened the scoring on 68 minutes, volleying home after Megan Wynne's
brave challenge and then after the huge blow of West Ham equalising in
the final minute, Wendy was there again to head home from Sophie
McLean's cross to secure the points in the fifth minute of added time.

Spurs Ladies have been working with the cast of Bend it Like Beckham for a number of months, teaching them football skills to perform on stage as part of the show which is currently running in London’s Phoenix Theatre in the West End.
