Attacking midfielder is a highly-rated product of our Academy and operates across midfield or just off the front.Ryan led the goalscoring charts for the Under-18s in his two successive years as a scholar, making his First Team debut as a substitute in our UEFA Cup tie with NEC Nijmegan in November, 2008, aged just 17.
After helping the Under-18s finish runners-up in the Academy Premier League and reach the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup in 2008-09, he got to experience his first regular senior football the following season on loan at League One side Yeovil Town.
And he was a big hit at Huish Park, scoring six goals in 29 appearances in League One and the FA Cup.
Ryan returned to Spurs for the latter part of the 2009-10 season and featured for the First Team during the following pre-season campaign before signing for Championship club Doncaster on a month's loan in August, 2010.
Unfortunately, injury trouble restricted his progress at the Keepmoat Stadium and he made just five appearances before returning to the Club, but once fit again he was to return to Yorkshire for the latter part of 2010-11 and featured a further 10 times before Rovers agreed to take Ryan on loan for the 2011-12 season.
In July, 2011, Ryan also put pen to paper on a contract extension at the Club until 2013.
Injury affected his 2011-12 campaign as he made five appearances, scoring once for Doncaster and then another five appearances for Millwall.
Born in Chase Farm, Enfield, Ryan attended Enfield Secondary School and was the District hurdles champion.
