All-action midfielder enjoyed a first season to remember after joining us in August, 2011.He made an immediate impact by being voted our Player of the Month in his first three months at the club, September, October and Novembrt, 2011.
Scott then took the Man of the Match honour as England toppled world champions Spain in a friendly at Wembley in November, 2011.
Full of heart and energy and with a willingness to give everything for the cause, Scott went on to make 34 appearances in the Premier League and FA Cup, starting 34.
He completed a Player of the Season double from One Hotspur Members and Supporters Clubs and was voted into the PFA's Premier League Team of the Season.
The icing on the cake came when he was called up for a major tournament for the first time and he started England's four matches in Euro 2012.
Scott's impressive displays for West Ham during the previous season saw him named the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year, 2011.
He began his career with Charlton Athletic, making his debut in 1997 aged just 16, before joining Chelsea in January, 2004 and was crowned PFA Young Player of the Year at the end of the 2003/04 campaign.
Scott has represented England at every level from Under-16 through to senior, joined Newcastle United in June, 2005 and went on to captain the side during two seasons at St James' Park.
