UNDER-18S 4-3 STOKE - KENNY'S THE HAT-TRICK HERO

Kenny McEvoy grabbed a hat-trick as our Under-18s beat Stoke City 4-3 in a rollercoaster encounter in the Barclays U18 Premier League on Saturday.
The winger was clinical in front of goal and linked-up well with Roman Michael-Percil as the lads went 1-0 up, 2-1 down and then 3-2 up only for Stoke to level at 3-3 before half-time.
McEvoy struck what turned out to be the winner in the 71st minute.
"We dominated the game, had some really good passages of play and lots of positives but we also made some basic errors that made the scoreline look closer than the game actually was," reported Academy Manager, John McDermott.
"Kenny McEvoy was excellent. He's been working on scoring at the far post and he's had a really good start to the season, he deserved that. He's making and scoring a lot of goals at the moment.
"Roman Michael-Percil opened the scoring after great work from Kenny, he got behind the defence and pulled it back for Roman to score at the far post.
"Our other two goals in the first half were identical, getting behind the Stoke defence and Roman crossing and Kenny to finish.
"The matchwinner was an excellent assist from Josh Onomah, who broke through and played a perfectly-weighted pass for Kenny to score from the inside left position of the penalty area.
"There was lots of positive play. Shaq Coulhirst continues to look a real threat and was thwarted by the goalkeeper a couple of times. Against Barcelona, he was awesome in his finishing but this time, he showed another side to his game in his hold-up play and linking the play, allowing our wide players to get down the side.
"We've seen all the different elements of the number nine from Shaq in recent weeks and we just want him to put it all together now.
"It's also worth mentioning the positive impacts of both William Miller and Ruben Lameiras when they came off the bench."
Spurs U18s: McGee, A McQueen, Ball, Ogilvie, Smith, Dombaxe, Lesniak (Lameiras, 63), Onomah (Miller, 74), M-Percil, McEvoy (Gardiner, 78), Coulthirst.
