The Belgian midfielder has been sidelined since picking up a hip injury on international duty in October.

Andre Villas-Boas reported that Mousa is making 'steady progress' but it looks unlikely he'll be involved in Matchday Five in Group J.

"We're stll building Mousa's fitness up to match level," said Andre.

"We decided to bring him on this trip because it gave us the chance to include him in the training session, his first for quite some time with his team-mates."

As we reported on Tuesday, Scott Parker has returned to light training but he remains out alongside longer-term injuries Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul.
