Andre Villas-Boas reports that Jermain Defoe 'has a chance' of being available for Sunday’s North London derby at the Lane.

The striker has returned to training this week after picking up an ankle injury against West Brom on February 3.

Speaking after training on Friday, Andre said: “Jermain has trained with the team for the last two days and will train again tomorrow.”

Clint Dempsey remains out with a calf strain and Andre reported no further problems with Younes Kaboul, Sandro and Tom Huddlestone all sidelined.
