STEVEN AND GEMMA LAUNCH NEW JUDO PARTNERSHIP

Steven Caulker joined fellow Olympian Gemma Gibbons to launch a new partnership between the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, the British Judo Association and Highlands School, Enfield, as part of the Foundation's sports development programme.
The new partnership builds on the Foundation's work to increase participation in all sports amongst local people and to create an Olympic legacy in the community after the success of the summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in London.
Steven knows all about the 'Olympic effect' having proudly been called-up to represent Team GB in the football tournament.
The central defender played all of Team GB's matches as they bowed out on penalties against Korea at the Millennium Stadium.
And who better than Gemma to help launch the new partnership? She provided one of the most iconic moments of the Games when she famously mouthed the words 'I love you mum' after beating world champion Audrey Tcheumeo in the semi-finals of the judo under-78kg tournament.
That was a tribute to her mum, Jeanette, who died of leukaemia when Gemma was 17.
Gemma eventually took silver after losing out to American Kayla Harrison in the final.
"It's so important to encourage youngsters in any sport and the club plays a big part of that," said Steven, who has starred for us so far this season.
"I had the opportunity to come down to Highlands School and meet up with some great young kids who are willing to listen and willing to learn.
"I spoke to a few of the youngsters and they said what a fantastic opportunity it was for them to meet an Olympic silver medallist like Gemma and how that was a real inspiration for them.
"This was my first experience of judo and it was great to throw a few people on the floor!"
This new partnership will see Great Britain international Siobhan O’Neil run a weekly Judo club at Highlands School on behalf of the Foundation.
