Spurs A League Is Underway!

Ten teams played in the all-new six-a-side league.

The first game saw White & Red start off with a bang, winning 11-0 against One Warehouse Project, with Gioia bagging a double hat-trick!

The next three games were more closely contested - CISK Sports took an early 3-0 lead against True Chigwell before being pegged back to 3-2. A fantastic last few minutes saw play go from end to end before CISK Sports wrapped up a 4-2 win in the dying seconds.

The game between A.C.C and Deportivo Lack of Fitness was close with Deportivo Lack of Fitness coming out on top, also 4-2.

The penultimate game was also keenly fought between 6 Hubs and Borussia. It was tied at 2-2 with only minutes to go when Borussia were awarded a disputed penalty kick to win the match. The Borussia player confidently sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to win another great game 3-2.

The final match of the night saw an excellent young Cinnamon FC team dominate Athletico Woodford with D. Brooks notching six goals in an 11-1 win to take the total number of goals to a massive 40 for the evening!

This excellent win sent Cinnamon FC to second place just behind White & Red on goal difference.

Well done to all the players that took part and we look forward to another exciting night of six-a-side next week.
