Scott Parker, Rafa van der Vaart and Sandro all played for their countries on Saturday in the latest round of international friendlies.
Scott played 56 minutes for Roy Hodgson's team as England secured a 1-0 win in Norway courtesy of an Ashley Young goal early in the game.
Bulgaria inflicted a surprise 2-1 defeat on the Netherlands in Amsterdam, with Rafa playing 64 minutes of the match. Robin Van Persie gave the home side the lead before van der Vaart conceded a penalty for handball which was duly scored, and the Bulgarians scored again in the dying seconds to secure victory.
In Germany, Sandro played 85 minutes of Brazil's 3-1 win over Denmark with the midfielder putting in a typically energetic shift.
