HOTSPUR - OUT NOW!

New signing Gylfi Sigurdsson is a player with an acknowledged eye for goal. And he is convinced that when Spurs hit top form, some poor side will feel the backlash.
As the Iceland international points out, the hard part in every game is creating goalscoring opportunities. But we are currently doing that with such regularity that we cannot be far away from a literal avalanche in an upcoming fixture.
“Once we click we will be clinical,” Gylfi warns. “The signs are all there in our build-up play and the next step, consistent finishing, will be key.
“I look around me and see such quality that the goals…cannot be far away. How can they be? Our approach makes that inevitable. It is not easy to create so many chances in the Premier League but that’s what we’re doing and it’s great to be part of it.”
Sigurdsson is the main interview in the current issue of our monthly magazine Hotspur. And one lucky reader will win his signed boots in our latest free-to-enter competition.
As he tells Hotspur, he is loving life at Tottenham, following his July move from Hoffenheim - and his success in the Premier League last season while on loan with Swansea City.
“This is a massive club in so many ways; everything is done so professionally. It’s all geared up to ensure success on the field and I’m still getting used to how special it is here.”
Gylfi’s fellow new arrivals Mousa Dembele, Clint Dempsey and Hugo Lloris are also featured together with interviews with Emmanuel Adebayor, Kyle Walker, and Jan Vertonghen. Aaron Lennon tells us about his four favourite Spurs games while Scott Parker answers our High Fives questions.
We also feature our Spurs-supporting Olympian and Paralympian medal winners; Ossie Ardiles, in his exclusive column, predicts exciting times ahead at the Lane; and we also catch up with former players Paul Stalteri and Darren Caskey.
We take an in-depth look at our opponents in the Europa League and preview all our October games.
All this - and so much more. No true Spurs fan can be without Hotspur magazine!
