PICK OURSELVES UP AND GO AGAIN - HARRY
Posted 11 April 2012 10:46am
Harry Redknapp called immediately for the squad to lift themselves after Easter Monday’s disappointing home defeat against Norwich City.
It was only our third home loss of the season in the Premier League and meant Newcastle moved level with us on 59 points.
However, we stayed fourth after Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw at Fulham in Monday night’s late kick-off.
Our bid for a place in the top four takes a back seat this week as the players prepare for Sunday’s huge FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea at Wembley.
“Monday was a bad day for us but we have to pick ourselves up,” said Harry.
“We’ve an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Sunday and then five big games to go and we’ve got to look to win all five.
"It's us, Newcastle and Chelsea and it’s tight. It's going to be close, and it's the team who wants it most.
“It’s the team that has the best five games - we have to make sure it’s us.”
