BIG DAY FOR SPURS LADIES
Posted 01 February 2013 07:55am
Tottenham Hotspur Ladies take on higher-level Cardiff City in the third round of the FA Women's Cup on Sunday.
The ladies are currently eighth in the Southern Division of the FA Women's Premier League while the Bluebirds - who included four full Welsh internationals in their line-up against Brighton last weekend - sit seventh in the National Division.
"It's a massive game for us," said manager, Karen Hills. "Cardiff are in the National Division, packed full of talent and we'll go in as underdogs, but that will suit us.
"I expect them to be physical, organised and composed in possession. They have plenty of experience and won't be fazed by coming to us.
"It's been a while since our last game and the girls can't wait to get out there and test themselves. It's the cup, a one-off and anything can happen."
The match is at Harlow Town FC, kicking off at 2pm on Sunday.
