Sports Coach - Think Fit (female) - Tottenham Hotspur Foundation (Casual Worker)

Reporting Structure
The job holder will report to relevant Senior Manager within Tottenham Hotspur Foundation (THF).

Payment
This is a casual position with flexible working hours including weekdays, evenings and weekends at a rate of £10 - £15 per hour (dependent on qualifications).

Job Outline

  • Successful candidates will be expected to deliver high quality Sport and Physical Activity projects for young people (under 18s) and adults (particularly women and girls).
  • Candidates must be flexible with time and will have to work irregular hours (e.g. evenings) given the nature of the projects.
  • Candidates will need to hold England Athletics/RUN England Leadership in Running Fitness qualification and two level 1 sports coaching qualifications and have a broad range of sports coaching skills and experience.

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation's current range of sporting and project activities include: Jogging, Table–Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Football and Mentoring.

The position is suited to individuals' with a range of experience, skills and abilities, including:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience of delivering sporting activities within community settings, schools and holiday provisions
  • Must have a England Athletics Jog Leader qualification and a minimum of two Level 1 National Governing Body coaching qualifications, one must be a sport other than football
  • Individuals with experience working in Sport Development and Community Development programmes
  • Individuals with experience of delivering sports coaching to adults/beginners
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of the Greater North London area
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid First Aid and safeguarding children certificates
  • Qualified PE teachers welcome
