POSITIVE PARKER
Posted 30 January 2013 12:51am
Scott Parker is positive as we step back into Premier League action at Norwich City tonight.
We travel to Carrow Road on a run of just one defeat in 11 in the Premier League, stretching back to November.
That form sees us in fourth place in the table after 23 of the 38 league matches and Scott feels the foundations have been laid to have a real push in the business end of of the campaign.
“To be fair, the lads have put in a real shift for the first half of the season and that is clear for everyone to see,” said the midfielder, back in action and raring to go after being laid low until December with Achilles trouble.
“They have produced some great results and our league position is certainly one we are happy with at this stage of the campaign.
“The players who have come in this season have done a fantastic job. They’ve seamlessly fitted into the squad and the team and have been on top form
“I was asked after the game against QPR (on January 12) if we can maintain this for the rest of the season, and I think there’s absolutely no reason why not.”
