Andre Villas-Boas described Sunday's North London derby victory as a 'great team performance'.

Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon scored the goals in a two-minute spell late in the first half as we secured a vital 2-1 win at the Lane.

The three points lifted us back into third place and stretched our run in the Premier League to 12 unbeaten and one loss in 16 matches since November.

"There were a lot of great individual performances," said Andre.

"The midfield worked very hard and we did our tasks properly. The players were inspired because they wanted to achieve the objective which was to get this win, which is great for everyone.

"Gylfi had a great game, he was fantastic and it's great to see him breaking into a good run of form now

"Other players too, the pair at the back, Benoit was absolutely fantastic, Lennon and Bale. It was a great team performance."
