Defender Jonathan Dinzeyi was a regular for our Under-18s in 2016-17.
Often teaming up with the older Japhet Tanganga at centre-half, he racked up 19 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League, five starts and one substitute appearance in the FA Youth Cup and one start away to CSKA Moscow in the Under-19 UEFA Youth League.
He also won the IMG Cup in Florida with our Under-18s in December, 2016, and returned to the States as part of the senior squad for our 2017 pre-season tour.
Born in Islington and raised in Enfield, he attended Enfield Grammar School and played for Chettle Court Rangers youth team in Haringey before joining us.
Despite his towering frame, Jonathan actually played on the wing for a spell with our Under-16s before settling on a central defensive berth.
He featured nine times for our Under-18s in 2015-16, including eight starts, while still a schoolboy. His debut came against Fulham in September, 2015, and he netted his first goal at that level in a 2-1 win over West Ham United in November, 2015.
